I do not breed large numbers of litters and am happy to put people on a waiting list for the right rabbit. I like to know that all my rabbits go to the best possible homes and I prefer to meet prospective owners to make sure that they have made an informed choice when deciding to home a rabbit. Rabbits can live to 10 years of age so please think this through before deciding it's the right pet for you.
Rabbits are not suitable pets for very young children as they can be difficult to handle and care for properly. Children from the age of about 7 are capable of caring for a rabbit, with adult supervision, and I am happy to supply bonded pairs and house rabbits whenever possible. I cannot recommend keeping guinea pigs and rabbits together. They have different needs and behaviours and it rarely works well.
If you are considering buying a pair of rabbits please think about the various options. Whatever you choose, you will have to neuter both rabbits to avoid unwanted litters and possible hormonally triggered aggression. Neutering is recommended for all pet rabbits if they begin to show any territorial or aggressive behaviour. Full information on neutering, bonding, keeping house rabbits and much more is available on the Rabbit Welfare Association site. www.rabbitwelfare.co.uk
All my rabbits are sold with a full care instructions and a supply of their current food.
I do not export rabbits unless they are collected in person.
